News Flash: Owen Sound is a city. 

It has all the amenities of a big city, but on a smaller scale. Owen Sound also boasts a super cool downtown.

Nestled on the Sydenham River, the downtown (known as the River District) has boutique shops, theatres, cafes and a vibrant music and arts scene that will surprise and impress you.

And, it’s not like Toronto is that far away. People from this neck of the woods look forward to an easy day trip to The Six. Heck, once you’ve been out of the city for a while, road trips (even with traffic) can be fun.

Although, it must be noted that the most common response to a day trip to Toronto is “I’m glad to be home”.
